Media exhibition: "A journey through a prisoner-of-war camp, tobacco workshops to the Culture Factory"

The first incubator for creative industries in Klaipėda and Western Lithuania to open its doors wide to creativity, work, and culture, Kultūros fabrikas (KUFA) is celebrating its tenth anniversary!

Kicking off its marathon of anniversary celebrations, the Culture Factory will be giving the city of Klaipėda a free, open event every month for the whole year. The first event of the decade celebration is a media exhibition entitled "Journey through a prisoner of war camp, tobacco workshops to the Culture Factory," which will open at the Culture Factory on December 8 at 6:30 p.m.

The exhibition aims not only to tell the story of the old building, but also to present the life of the Culture Factory today. The exhibition consists of two segments: photographs of the old tobacco factory and the reconstruction of the building, and an unconventional instant media exhibition. The media exhibition will be on display on the opening day of the exhibition, while the historical photography exhibition will be open on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and during events.

After the opening of the exhibition, participants will be treated to two cinema events. The newly launched resident of the Culture Factory – the virtual reality cinema space From 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., there will be a special opportunity to meet the film's director, Donatas Ulvydas

At 8 p.m., the action will move to the KUFA cinema hall, where visitors to the exhibition will be treated to a gift from Kultūros fabrikas, the premiere of ArleKino, and the latest film by director Ridley Scott, Napoleon.
