The cycle of events celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Culture Factory is entering its second half. As promised, the Culture Factory is giving the city of Klaipėda a free, open event every month throughout the year. On July 11 at 6 p.m., a special event awaits Klaipėda residents and visitors to the city at the KUFA cinema hall – the audiovisual project "Sapnuojant gyvenimą" (Dreaming Life) by artist Algis Kriščiūnas and composer Darius Žičkus.

Artist A. Kriščiūnas used artificial intelligence to turn his paintings into moving images, which he will combine with poetic narratives and compositions by composer D. Žičkus during the performance. The audience of the film-concert will be immersed in a world of images, music, and stories. It will be a rare moment of tranquility in our lives, when it is good to stop, reflect, enjoy, and simply be.

After the performance, guests at the Culture Factory will be invited to view an exhibition of paintings by Algis Kriščiūnas and we will present his newly published book, Paveikslai ir istorijos (Paintings and Stories). This is a substantial art album containing a collection of 100 of the artist's best works and stories. Another pleasant and important part of the evening will be conversations and discussions with the author.

The virtual reality (VR) cinema space Hexa Cinema will open its doors for a VR cinema night and offer the opportunity to watch the VR film Žaisti Gyvenimą (Playing Life) at a special price. The VR film will take you on a journey through two dozen paintings by Algis Kriščiūnas that come to life in virtual reality. Tickets can be purchased here: www.hexacinema.lt

 7:30 p.m. Opening of A. Kriščiūnas' exhibition (free event)
