What will you do when summer ends?
We don’t want to scare you, but along with fall comes the “cepelinai season”

We know from experience that this isn’t exactly the brightest or most fun time of year, so we’re offering you some entertainment / a club / therapy (call it what you will) for Thursday evenings—of course, if you haven’t already planned out your life for the next year—we invite you to SING.

Even if you have no musical training or previous singing experience, don’t know how to read music, and only sing in the shower—with all due respect to everyone’s vocal abilities—it would be nice if an elephant hadn’t climbed onto your ear

We are a mixed amateur choir in Klaipėda, and here we are successfully challenging the prevailing belief that choir singing is an old-fashioned and boring activity. Far from it! We sing songs like “Džesikutė,” “Mamma Mia,” and “Vandenynai,” and we plan to try out the repertoire for the Song Festival as well.

And now for the best and most important part of this “call” to sing: we’re sensitive and understanding; we’ve heard heartbreaking stories hundreds of times about how singing in school wasn’t exactly a fun experience: strict/boring music teachers—or even worse, you heard the phrase “you just can’t sing” (which is why you now tell everyone you have a trauma related to singing—WE FEEL YOU). Good news—there are no auditions for “Pajūrio chore.” That’s right!

So on March 9, you can just come by and see what everything looks, sounds, and feels like here. You’ll look at us, and we’ll look at you—who knows, maybe we’ll like each other and decide to extend our first date indefinitely? Looking ahead, we’re planning regular weekly get-togethers—we’ll be singing on Thursdays.
