Taško Theater: movement performance for the whole family "Trijulė aukštyn kojom" (directed by Agnija Šeiko)
A movement performance for the whole family, “Trijulė aukštyn kojom” (Three Upside Down), directed by Agnija Šeiko.
Inspired by German playwright Carsten Brandau’s play “Trijulis aukštyn kojom” (Three Upside Down), Taško teatras invites you to a dynamic performance about friendship for the whole family.
Pirmulė and Dudulė are a duo with their own established order, which they trust unconditionally. However, one day, Trijulė turns their lives upside down: she does not care about the established order and does not feel obliged to follow it. With her uniqueness, she not only provokes Pirmulė and Dudulė to reevaluate the order they have created, but also reveals that uniqueness is valuable and interesting in the world. After all, the most important thing is not rules, but friendship based on mutual trust and respect.
The play tells the story of how the arrival of a third person, who seems to have fallen from the sky, and his otherness can disrupt the routine of life that had existed until then. However, respect, care, and responsibility not only for oneself but also for others help to establish and maintain relationships with a wide variety of people and animals that nurture each individual’s uniqueness.
