Swedish Film Day: screening of the film "The Emigrants" and exhibition
Swedish director Erik Poppe's film tells the moving story of Kristina Nilsson, a mother who, in the 1860s, leaves poverty-stricken Sweden with her family and embarks on a long and dangerous journey, hoping to find a better life for herself and her children in America.
