Summer rooftop cinema: "The Triangle of Sadness"
Last summer, we were treated to a cozy evening filled with cinema. For the first time this summer, we climbed onto the roof of KUFA – the weather allowed us to hold an open-air screening, and we watched the touching film "Perfect Days." The terrace was filled with the buzz of movie lovers, and the evening was full of coziness.
We hope to see you again on the rooftop terrace on August 29 at 10 p.m.! This time, we will be watching the film "The Triangle of Sadness," which has sparked much passion and discussion.
About the film:
Triangle of Sadness (dir. Ruben Östlund) is a black comedy satire that explores social classes and the absurdity of privilege. A pair of models are invited on a luxury cruise ship whose passengers include millionaires, oligarchs' wives, and an eccentric captain. It would seem that nothing could disturb this perfect world, but suddenly everything descends into chaos. The film won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and leaves a strong impression on every viewer.
We will create a cinema bubble with wireless headphones.
Before the film, there will be a conversation with film moderator Ūkana Kapačauskaite, which will help you take a deeper look into the world of the film.
We will serve KUFA Urban Garden herbal tea (lemon balm + thyme).
Klaipėda is a windy city, and the wind is even stronger on the roof. Dress warmly and bring a blanket to make your movie night comfortable, whatever the weather. Come and end the summer with a powerful open-air movie experience!
