Summer rooftop cinema: the film "Fanfare"
This summer, KUFA is bringing back its summer rooftop cinema – movie nights under the open sky on the rooftop terrace. Starting on June 27, weather permitting, Kultūros fabrikas and ArleKinas invite viewers to five Friday evening gatherings, during which the films that received the most viewer ratings in 2025 will be screened.
The first summer rooftop cinema evening will take place on June 27 at 10 p.m. It will open with the French comedy Fanfare (directed by Emmanuel Courcol). It is a warm, music-filled story about a successful conductor, Tibo, who learns not only that he has a serious illness, but also that he was adopted and has a brother. Jimmy, who lives a simple life in the countryside, plays the trombone in a small orchestra. Different paths, but one passion—music becomes the pretext for a brotherly bond and the beginning of a new dream. Tickets for this screening are available here.
All screenings will be accompanied by wireless headphones, ensuring high-quality sound and a cozy open-air cinema experience. Headphones will be distributed upon arrival before the screenings.
Before each film, viewers will have the opportunity to meet with film moderator Ūkana Kapačauskaite. Film lovers will be treated to tea made from lemon balm and thyme grown on the KUFA urban garden terrace. In case of inclement weather, the cinema will be moved to the KUFA cinema hall.
Let cinema become more than just a film – let it become a cozy summer memory.
