Spanish Culture Days in Klaipėda: COLORES DEL FLAMENKO – a concert by flamenco dancers from the Baltic countries
From October 18 to November 16, Klaipėda will host various events, educational activities, and other activities that will showcase Spanish culture in a variety of ways , starting with the 1st International Flamenco Festival, which will feature flamenco dance studios from the Baltic countries and guests from Spain – professional flamenco masters – and ending with Spanish Food Week in Klaipėda restaurants. Klaipėda residents and visitors are invited to concerts, dance performances, Spanish film screenings, flamenco dance lessons, and Spanish language lessons. Special attention is expected to be given to two exhibitions of flamenco costumes and accessories from Spain: an exhibition of flamenco costumes by Rima Pocienė, a Lithuanian living in Spain, and an exhibition of flamenco costumes and accessories by the Andalusian Flamenco Fashion and Crafts Association.

Spanish Culture Days are funded by the Klaipėda City Municipality, in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Spain in Lithuania and the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of Spain in Klaipėda.
