Four seasons, four cellos, four radically different dancers.

The dance and live music performance "Seasons" is the first joint work by the Šeiko Dance Theater and the Klaipėda Cello Quartet led by Mindaugas Bačkus. One of the world's most popular works, Antonio Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons," performed live by cellists, takes on a new, deconstructed form on stage.

The different seasons and elements are embodied here by performers who are unique in their fields and highly diverse in their expressions and plasticity: the aristocratic ballerina Beata Molytė, theater shaman Benas Šarka, actor and mime artist Aleksas Mažonas, and one of the strongest contemporary dancers of his generation, Marius Pinigis.

Choreographer Agni Šeiko has masterfully coordinated the collaboration of these personalities on stage, giving them sufficient freedom of expression. This creates an unexpected harmony of dance and music between different performers on stage.
