Saulius Petreikis invites you to the concert presenting his new album, Sapnų vartai (Gateway to Dreams), at the Klaipėda Culture Factory!

The concert will take place on December 20 at 6 p.m.

About the new album: "
The album was born out of a desire to capture a state of calm, a connection with myself and my loved ones. My parents used to sing different lullabies to me when I was a child. These are some of my strongest memories, which I cherish greatly. At this stage of my life, I sing lullabies and read fairy tales to my children. This is the most anticipated time of the day for me. After various activities, being close to them, singing to them, and reading to them helps me calm down. After the children fell asleep, I spent the night in the recording studio, where I tried to capture this fragile moment when no one is in a hurry, when it is safe (calm), when it is good. It is not enough to record the melodies. I wanted to feel all the compositions, to devote time to arrangements and analysis. This creative process was like a journey to discover a new musical self. After almost four years, on a June morning, I was very happy when I realized that this album was finished. I am grateful to the musicians and the whole team who were there and contributed to the creation of this work." – Saulius Petreikis
