Let’s celebrate together—Klaipėda has talented filmmakers, and great Lithuanian cinema isn’t limited to the capital.

On January 16, an exceptional film hit Lithuanian theaters—“Dominykas the Horse’s Journey to the Stars,” the first full-length 3D animated film produced in the history of independent Lithuania.

We are especially pleased that this film was made in Klaipėda, at the Culture Factory, and that the KUFA resident team “Play Life Creative Studio” worked on it.

On February 5 at 5:00 p.m., we invite the KUFA community to a private film screening in the Kultūros fabrikas movie theater.

Before the screening, Mantas Pronckus, the director of Play Life Creative Studio, will briefly discuss the filmmaking process, the challenges involved, and how the project—which is now being shown in theaters across Lithuania—got its start in Klaipėda.

Although *Dominykas the Horse’s Journey to the Stars* is an animated film, its story is not intended solely for children. The film’s main message is simple and universal—love requires neither wealth, nor strength, nor precious stones. True love is warm and can protect you even on the coldest days.
