Premiere of Inga Kuznecovas' film LUNAticos

The Šeiko Dance Theater invites you to a dance film evening! On November 19, short films entitled "Dance Plus City" will be presented, revealing the architecture of different periods and different Lithuanian cities and towns through contemporary dance and cinematic expression.

During the evening, there will be a PREMIERE screening of Inga Kuznecovas' short film LUNAticos!

LUNAticos

If you dream of a dead bird of prey, you will be successful. If you fly in your dream, pleasant experiences await you, but if you fly over ruins, misfortune awaits you. In fact, if you dream of any kind of ruins, you should check your health. And if you dream that you are walking along the seashore among seaweed, you will encounter minor obstacles. A stormy sea in a dream is a warning. Apples are picked, peeled, cut, and eaten. What does this mean? If you dream of a fly, nothing good will happen.

If you are awake but see people dreaming, flying, dancing, falling, and biting flies, you have entered the unique dream world of LUNAticos. Grab a straw, because the dreamer here will no longer help you. In this playful and comical short film by choreographer Inga Kuznecovas, we dive into a strange dream in an attempt to understand the physical and spiritual worlds of the people of Lithuania. Here, the limits of human possibilities are tested, the strength of the connection with nature inherited from folk culture is reflected upon, and the relevance of the worldview formed by the Lithuanian language is considered.
