𝗥𝘂𝗴𝘀𝗲̇𝗷𝗼 𝟲 𝗱. 𝟭𝟴 𝘃𝗮𝗹. 𝗞𝗨𝗙𝗔 𝗿𝘂̄𝘀𝘆𝗷𝗲, Klaipėda residents and visitors will be treated to a special show – sound artist and former mentoring program participant 𝗟𝘂𝗸𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗼 and visual artist 𝗔𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘀 project (𝗗𝗶𝘀)𝗸𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘀 "𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗷𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲̇ 𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲̇. KLAIPĖDA: 𝟰 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘁𝘆𝘃𝗼𝘀."

𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗘 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗞𝗧𝗔̨:
Sound artist Lukas Tarvainis and visual artist Arina Chigareva present the project (Dis)course. This is an invitation to explore the area without following the traditional Top 10 tourist map, but by using various senses and combinations thereof, thus giving event participants a unique opportunity to get to know the area through a multi-sensory experience from different perspectives, which would take the form of a performance, installation, or other creative idea.

𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗘 𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗘̨ 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗝𝗔̨:
The first stop on the (Dis)course route was chosen to be the city of Klaipėda, which is unique in that it combines the identity of an industrial city and a port city with the distinctiveness of a natural area, landscape, and geographical location. And this, according to the project's authors, is the synergy of this city, which gives Klaipėda its unique identity.
The event will feature an artistic installation "𝗗𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗶𝗮𝗷𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲̇ 𝗸𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲̇. 𝗞𝗟𝗔𝗜𝗣𝗘̇𝗗𝗔: 𝟰 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗸𝘁𝘆𝘃𝗼𝘀", during which we will explore the identity of the city of Klaipėda through four senses: hearing, sight, smell, and touch. This installation, combining music, visual art, aromatherapy, and the sense of touch, will seek to reveal new perspectives on the city and encourage awareness of the environment around us. The use of a multi-sensory approach will allow the viewer not only to see, but also to hear, smell, and feel the work of art, providing an opportunity to delve deeper into its meaning.

𝗔𝗣𝗜𝗘 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗞𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗡Ė𝗦 𝗠𝗨𝗭𝗜𝗞𝗢𝗦 𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗬𝗠𝗔̨:
After the event, Klaipėda residents and visitors will be treated to a 30-minute musical performance which will complement the atmosphere of the evening and allow you to immerse yourself in Lukas Tarvainis' live dialogue between ambient electronics and fragments of Klaipėda's soundscape.

at the event. Scents will be used at the event, and for a smoother experience, it is recommended that you do not wear perfume.
