Marketing doesn't work. TikTok is pointless. Is that really true?
The Culture Factory invites cultural representatives, creatives, and young entrepreneurs to participate in a hands-on entrepreneurship workshop “Marketing Doesn’t Work. TikTok Is Pointless. Is That Really True?” on September 15 at 4:30 p.m. at Kultūros fabrikas
(Conference Hall A, first floor).
Registration (confirmed immediately upon registration) https://forms.gle/34tqGqt19U8wC7sQ9
The seminar will cover how consumers make decisions, what determines the effectiveness of advertising, and how the attention economy works.
We will also explore why we shouldn’t be quick to blame TikTok’s algorithm and how to take advantage of the platform’s capabilities to create effective content.
“We don’t need marketing.” Indrė Razbadauskaitė-Venskė has been working in marketing for more than 10 years. She is a lecturer at LCC, ISM, and the Vilnius University Business School; a marketing strategist and business consultant; chair of the Klaipėda chapter of LiMA; founder of “Don’t Let Go of Your Dream,” coordinator of the Kultūros fabrikas mentoring program, mentor for small (solo) businesses, TEDx speaker, and creator of the podcast “Branded Minds.”
For 45 minutes, we’ll discuss:
“Advertising doesn’t work.” Or maybe we simply don’t understand how people make decisions?
The attention economy: why most communication never even gets a chance to be evaluated.
“I don’t fall for advertising.”
What do cognitive biases tell us about this?
Why rational arguments don’t always win out.
What can we learn about effective communication from consumer behavior and neuromarketing?
“TikTok is stupid.” Is that really true? Emanuelis Kamarauskas has many years of experience developing startups and brands. Today, he heads the social media agency “Panama Agency,” which has created numerous success stories in Lithuania and internationally and became the first agency in the Baltic states to receive an official “TikTok Success Case” recognition with the international brand RT TAX, which operates in 11 countries. “Panama Agency” also helped “Cannumo,” named “Startup of the Year,” rise to prominence, having worked with the company for a year from day one.
During this 45-minute session, we’ll discuss:
Why is it so easy to blame the algorithm?
Why is “TikTok isn’t right for us” one of the most costly phrases in marketing?
How organic content quickly reveals the truth.
How to create content that works.
Location: Kultūros fabrikas, Conference Room A (first floor), September 15 at 4:30 p.m. Photography will be permitted during the event.
