Tickets are required for both children and parents 
In the Klaipėda Youth Theater's performance for the whole family, "The Story of One Yard," you will meet mysterious, inventive, and undoubtedly funny characters – the Kiemūnai. Is this the first time you've heard of them? Of course! After all, the Kiemūnai race is secretive, and we can neither see, feel, nor hear them in the world outside the theater. So who are the Kiemūnai? The
Kiemo encyclopedia says:
Kiemūnai (lit. yard animals) are invisible inhabitants of children's playgrounds whose sole purpose is to give children playing in the yard the best impressions and the most enjoyable experiences. Kiemūnai are found all over the world, most often in yards of various types and sizes, if there are children living nearby.
Do you still think you haven't encountered Kiemūnai? Then just think for a moment about what happens in the yard: children swing faster than their fear allows, fall safely from heights that defy logic, and immediately come up with another game when they get bored with the current one. We should thank the Kiemūnai for these courtyard pleasures! It is only thanks to the invisible guardians of the courtyard that children can safely, boldly, and sufficiently dirtily experience all the adventures of the courtyard and learn to get to know other visitors to the courtyard.
The play "The Story of One Yard" gives us the opportunity to see the mysterious and playful world of the Yardies with our own eyes for the first time and makes us wonder: maybe we should go outside and visit the yard more often?
