Love, Jazz, and the Devil (1967) is a tragicomedy imbued with the spirit of its era, but still relevant today, telling the story of three young vagabonds—Andrius, Julius, and Lukas. Alcohol, cigarettes, conflicts with parents, unfulfilled dreams, and an inability to control themselves lead to destruction and moral decline. The dance of love and death to the rhythm of jazz also involves 17-year-old Beatričė, who has been tossed about by fate but has nevertheless retained her bright nature and seeks to save the young people.
November 16, 6 p.m., at the Culture Factory.
The event is free of charge. Registration is required:
