During Italian Days in Klaipėda, on April 5 at 5 p.m., the Culture Factory will resound with legendary Italian film melodies – a concert by Paolo Ballardini (electric guitar / Italy). The Cinema Show, Act 2 will invite you to immerse yourself in cinematic masterpieces created by the most famous Italian composers, newly revealed through the unusual combination of electric guitar and piano. Symbolically, the musical performance will take place in the KUFA cinema hall, between Italian film screenings.
The program includes soundtracks by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Piero Piccioni, Riz Ortolani, Nicola Piovani, Piero Umiliani, and other composers, which are inseparable from legendary Italian films.
About the performer:
Paolo Ballardini is a talented Italian guitarist and composer with more than twenty years of experience on stage, on television, and in recording studios. He has played with the RAI television orchestra, sharing the stage with Renato Zero, Fabio Concato, Gianna Nannini, Gloria Gaynor, Nile Rodgers, Christopher Cross, and other world-renowned performers. His guitar has been heard in the popular musicals Mamma Mia!, Jersey Boys, Saturday Night Fever, Pretty Woman, Chicago, as well as on international tours with Fausto Leali, Marcella Bella, and the rock opera Excalibur. Roberto Dellepiane
(Italy) will be on the piano.
