Confidence when starting to work for yourself: creative problem solving
On August 13 at 3 p.m., the Culture Factory invites cultural representatives, creators, and young entrepreneurs to participate in a practical entrepreneurship seminar entitled Confidence in Starting Your Own Business: Creative Problem Solving. The seminar will be led by the founder of the Lithuanian Creative Entrepreneurship Center, entrepreneur, and mentor of the Lithuanian Creative Entrepreneurship Center, Dainius Šimkus.
When starting your own business, you often face doubts, an abundance of decisions, and pressure to "do everything right." In this session, we will talk about how self-confidence becomes the basis for creative and effective problem solving. How can you remain active even when you don't know all the answers? We will look for practical ways to stop belittling yourself and become your own ally, not your enemy. We will discuss imposter syndrome and how it hinders the growth of even the most successful people. And a little humor: why do those who "know less" sometimes have more courage?
𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝘂 𝗯𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗼𝘀 𝘀̌𝗶𝗼𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘀:
1. What is healthy confidence?
2. How can you become your own friend rather than your own enemy in business?
3. How is self-confidence related to achieving results and solving problems?
4. "Why do idiots run such businesses?"
5. What to do when you are plagued by doubts about your activities? Imposter syndrome.
6. Overcoming strategies and practices
The seminar will be led by Vaidotas Levickis.
When asked about his work, Vaidas introduces himself as a management consultant who is actively involved in day-to-day activities in the areas of communication and human resources management. He truly knows how to expand the boundaries of possibility, finds creative solutions, and helps others believe that they are achievable. He devotes much of his professional attention to personnel management and business development, as well as implementing communication projects. Vaidas completed his master's degree in communication and organizational management at Regent University in the United States. He is an internationally certified expert in organizational change management according to the William Bridges methodology.
The seminar will take place at the STUDIJA 2A Culture Factory (second floor). Duration: 2 hours.
