Buildings speak. Klaipėda
"Buildings Speak. Klaipėda" is an open architecture weekend that invites you to an architectural celebration in Klaipėda on September 13–14!
During the event, 18 exceptional buildings in the port city, which are usually partially or completely inaccessible to the general public, will open their doors. Volunteer guides will lead tours of these buildings.
The city of Klaipėda is a blend of port industry, red brick architecture, historical heritage, and contemporary layers – all of which are revealed in buildings that speak of the city's identity. The buildings of Klaipėda are silent witnesses, whose facades, interiors, and details reflect the changes of time and the city's memory. This event invites you to pause and get to know Klaipėda anew – through its architecture, stories, and buildings.
