Each animation technique has its own unique advantages and challenges. Therefore, this presentation will examine not only which production challenges can be avoided by combining traditional and computer-based 2D animation techniques, but also how to most effectively integrate the production processes of these different animation techniques (English: “pipeline”). Case studies of animated television and film projects will also be presented, highlighting various approaches to the application of hybrid animation. The presentation will be delivered in Lithuanian.
