The purpose of this presentation is to review and discuss the development of generative artificial intelligence in the global animation industry and to assess how it might impact the European animation community. It is important to emphasize that this presentation will not cover how to use specific AI models in the animation production process. Instead, it will discuss how to ethically and responsibly leverage the opportunities offered by this technology and avoid key risks. Finally, the presentation will discuss the legal proceedings currently underway in the U.S. and Europe and explore how they might influence the development of the animation industry in the near future.
