Legendary film actor Juozas Budraitis is 85 years old. He has starred in more than 120 films not only in Eastern and Central Europe, but also in Switzerland and Italy. Film sets have given him close friendships and joyful moments of creativity. However, today many of his film colleagues have passed away, and the actor is increasingly haunted by regret over unfinished work. Senio kelionės (The Old Man's Journey) is structured not as a biographical film, but as a fragmentary memory.

The roles he played are etched in the actor's memory no less than the most important facts of his life, so "The Old Man's Journey" constantly leads the viewer between Budraitis' memories of his youth and his most significant experiences in cinema, intertwining them into a unified, nostalgic stream of memory.

About the director N. Milerius:

Nerijus Milerius was born in Vilnius in 1971. In 2001, he defended his doctoral dissertation in philosophy. He currently works as a professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at Vilnius University. In addition to his academic activities, he is also actively involved in filmmaking. In 2019, he co-directed the documentary film Exemplary Behavior with Audrius Mickevičius, which tells the story of people sentenced to life imprisonment and won three awards at the DOK Leipzig festival: the Golden Dove, the FIPRESCI Prize, and the Interreligious Jury Award. In 2023, he created the documentary film Life After Death, which presents the experiences of actors playing their own deaths in feature films. In 2024, Milerius was one of the directors of the feature film Johatsu.
