Art Education Class for Infants Aged 6–14 Months and Their Parents

18 October 2026 11:00

What happens during the classes?

During each session, children act out a short story through movement, perform a dance, make music using various instruments, and learn tongue twisters. Through these activities, children develop their sense of rhythm and musicality, acting skills, synchronization of movement and sound, coordination, articulation, vocabulary, attentiveness, and concentration. Attention is also given to communication both among the children themselves and with other group members.

During the lessons, we’ll also share with you a collection of various activities based on our folklore heritage. We’ll explore the concept of “play” in more detail and in a hands-on way, and we’ll learn how to build a special bond with children through stories, movement, sound, rhythm, and touch.

The classes are led by choreographer, dancer, and movement therapist Dovilė Binkauskaitė. The program is based on Ieva Jackevičiūtė’s educational program for infants.
