ADDITIONAL performance "Marmiai" for children aged 5-10 (directed by Gabrielius Zapalskis)
When not only small children but also mothers and fathers go to bed, the town of Marmių comes to life in the distant and mysterious Martvudo forest. Its inhabitants are round BLACK creatures, one of whom is Olis, and he is not like the others. He is YELLOW!
WhaleDreams and Vėjų teatras invite you to get to know Olis, who came from the book by Indrė Pavilonytė and Martynas Pavilonis. Marmiai: Olis ir dažų kibirėlis (Marmiai: Olis and the Paint Bucket) is a unique book for children about feelings, discoveries, and mystical night creatures. The entire series of books about Marmiai has become unambiguously unique in the context of children's literature and has captured the hearts of many young readers.
The performance analyzes the phenomenon of a unique, authentic person. The creators talk to children about individuality, uniqueness, and various feelings through songs, movement, and illustrations of extraordinary beauty. The performance aims to foster children's empathy and ability to accept their own and others' differences.
