In turbulent times, peace becomes a haven of longing, a place where we long to fly away and rest. But where is that nest of our soul hidden? Perhaps it’s a folk song—especially that one about birds. Perhaps it’s poetry? Perhaps the wise people we’ve met along life’s path, who’ve shown us that playfulness is a remedy for anxiety and transience. Who’ve gifted us with a glimpse of light. And the promise that in the midst of every storm there is a place where a seagull can glide in silence.

Concert program—“About Birds”—songs, poems, conversations, and film clips.
