Joint exhibition by artists
𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝟏𝟔 𝐝., 𝟏𝟖 𝐯𝐚𝐥. The Culture Factory will open its doors to an international joint exhibition of artists, combining three different exhibitions. This is a rare opportunity to see such different artistic exhibitions at the same time – from an international group exhibition to paintings by young artists and contemporary ceramics.
Kintai Arts International Group Exhibition: "LANDSCAPE FORMATIONS"
𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚: 𝟏 𝐚. 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐣𝐚
The exhibition features works by Patricija Gilytė, Darya Hancharka, Vincent Jondeau, Krzysztof Klimek, Monika Kornilova, Miglė Križinauskaitė, Agnė Kulbytė, Artūras Mitinas, and Sofia Vuorenmaa.
The artistic exploration of the relationship between humans and nature, or in other words, the theme of the Anthropocene, is inseparable from creativity in the Kintai environment. A critical look at change and its inevitability forces us to interpret the theme of "Landscape Formations" broadly: from ecological challenges that determine changes in climatic conditions and transformations of the natural landscape to individual challenges in the modern world: the search for identity, feelings of insecurity, and efforts to give meaning to existence.
Emilija Griciūtė's ceramics exhibition "ON THE TIPS OF YOUR FINGERS"
𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚: 𝟐 𝐚. 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐮𝐥𝐲𝐣𝐞
A contemporary ceramic artist from Rietavas, currently creating and studying for a master's degree in ceramics at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, presents the exhibition "On the Tips of Your Fingers." In this exhibition, the author rethinks the concept of feelings. Arguing that feelings take many forms, she questions whether form and texture can evoke a corresponding emotion. The
creative project consists of two series of objects, each comprising six works. The first series consists of small-format objects that fit in the palm of your hand, which the viewer is invited to "feel" by touching them. The second series consists of larger-scale works, whose forms and colors stimulate the senses of sight and evoke emotional associations.
Evelina Simanavičiūtė's painting exhibition "FROM THE DRAWER"
𝐕𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐚: 𝟐𝐚. 𝐯𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐛𝐢𝐮𝐥𝐲𝐣𝐞
A young interdisciplinary conceptual artist, participant in the KUFA mentoring program, living and working in Klaipėda. Until now, the artist's paintings have been characterized by calmness, subtlety, and longing, but recently, Simanavičiūtė's work has begun to feature brighter colors and unexpected forms.
The exhibition "From the Drawer" at KUFA presents a variety of the artist's works that have never been seen before, some of which have been "pulled out of shelves or drawers," while others have been created specifically for this exhibition. Therefore, the exhibition is characterized by stylistic and thematic diversity.
This exhibition invites the viewer to experience an unexpected encounter with the artist's works – to discover creative surprises, to look at creativity in a new light, and perhaps to recognize within themselves the need to change, to search, and to discover.
We invite you to join us and experience art up close.
